The possibility of blocking unauthorised websites with Websense and scanning the bandwidth and the use of instant messaging and peer-to-peer network access has had a positive impact on productivity. Staff members are more focused on their core activities and the network no longer experiences delay as a result of unauthorised use.

One of the most important features of the architecture that has been implemented was the fact that the solution is effective at the internet access point and thus protects against the many potential dangers from the internet.

SIIX were impressed with IronMail’s aggressive approach to spam blocking, driven by IronMail’s Spam Profiler which analyzes over 1,000 user definable characteristics of a message, weighs each of those characteristics and makes a decision on whether the message is spam or not. IronMail would enable the Center to set rules and policies that ensure all legitimate mail makes it through, despite some of the words that might be included.

SIIX end-users did not need to know what system they were on, and ensuring constant e-mail flow would help that. IronMail’s mail monitoring rule was exactly what SIIX needed to help continue flow during our migration process.
